Nickel-Plated Brass PEX Compression Muff

This PEX compression muff is made from nickel-plated brass (CW617N), ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion in domestic and commercial plumbing systems. It is available in two configurations: 16 mm PEX inlet with 1/2 inch Female BSP thread, or 20 mm PEX inlet with 3/4 inch Female BSP thread. The fitting supports a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar at 60°C and a maximum temperature of 95°C at 6 bar. Sealing is achieved using an NBR 'O' ring gasket and a PTFE pad, providing reliable leak-free performance under standard UK water supply conditions. Designed for use with crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) piping, it leverages PEX’s flexibility, scale resistance, chlorine resistance, and ease of installation — eliminating the need for soldering, threading, or glue while reducing connection points compared to copper or rigid plastic systems.
