This box is compatible with control unit types EDC15 (diesel) and ME7 (petrol). The EDC15 control unit for diesel engines is installed in models from /SEAT and ŠKODA from 1999 onwards. The ME7 control unit for petrol engines with displacement of 1.6L and above is also supported. Also supported are control unit types ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1. Usage instructions: - Plug the Drive Box EDC15/ME7 into the vehicle’s diagnostic socket (OBD2). - Set the switch on the Drive Box to “OFF”. - After 20–30 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF). - An LED indicator will flash slowly initially, then rapidly — indicating that the immobilizer function has been disabled. - The vehicle can be started without a transponder key. - To restore immobilizer functionality, set the switch on the Drive Box to “ON”. - After 20–30 seconds, the immobilizer will be reactivated (IMMO ON). Compatible with vehicles equipped with Motronic control units EDC15 (diesel) or ME7 (petrol). Not compatible with 1.8T, 2.0TFSI, 1.4L, or 1.6L petrol engines.
