This solar filter is purpose-built for 150mm astronomical telescopes such as the Sky-Watcher Omni150 (150/750). It offers a usable clear aperture of ~135mm and an outer diameter of ~170mm, ensuring full coverage of the telescope’s objective lens or mirror. Made from robust ABS plastic and laminated with certified Bard Astro Solar Safety Film (OD 5.0), it weighs only 141g and stores flat in a compact 215 × 215 × 35mm package. The film is optically uniform — free of streaks, bubbles, or blisters — delivering consistent transmission and true neutral-white solar rendering. Ideal for visual tracking of sunspots, eclipse phases, and Mercury/Venus transits — always when mounted securely over the telescope’s front aperture.
