PC817 Quad Optocoupler Isolation Board

A compact 4-channel isolation board built around industry-standard PC817 optocouplers. Physical size: 53 × 27 × 15 mm; mass: ~12 g. Supports control-side input voltages from 3.6 V to 24 V (compatible with 3.3 V and 5 V logic), and delivers isolated output voltages from 3.6 V to 30 V. Each channel delivers up to 10 mA output current; total output power remains fixed, with current decreasing as output voltage increases within spec. Housing uses standard PCB-mount design with screw-terminal connections for both input and output sides. Isolation barrier rated for high noise immunity via optical coupling. Each channel functions as an independent, normally-open switch: applying voltage to the control terminal activates the corresponding output terminal. Optimised for interfacing microcontrollers with higher-voltage peripherals including 24 V relays, MOSFET gates, and bipolar transistor bases. No external components required for basic operation. Commonly deployed in DIY automation projects, lab test fixtures, and small-scale industrial controllers — especially where separating logic ground from load ground is essential for reliability and safety, such as in motor control feedback loops or sensor actuation circuits.
