PLA RJ45 Network Disconnect Switch

A manually operated RJ45 network disconnect switch built inside a biopolymer case. Measures approx. 75 mm × 45 mm × 30 mm and weighs about 42 g. The shell is formed from 100% non-toxic PLA — a sustainably sourced, FDA-recognised thermoplastic with zero halogen content. Integrated RU-standard toggle switch guarantees ≥10,000 actuations with stable contact resistance. Designed for seamless integration into existing Ethernet infrastructure: connects between wall jack and device, or between modem and router, without altering cable length or requiring adapters. Fully compatible with all common Ethernet standards (10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T) and retains full link negotiation functionality. Typical usage includes enforcing digital wellbeing schedules, protecting remote-access infrastructure at night, and creating air-gapped test environments during firmware validation.
