Polycarb 8-Way Wind Sensor 4-20mA

A purpose-built wind direction sensor made entirely from high-grade polycarbonate — delivering exceptional impact resistance, weatherproofing, and immunity to oxidation or chemical attack. It identifies wind origin across 8 fixed directions (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW) via a precision-engineered rotating vane and ultra-low-friction bearing assembly, ensuring responsiveness and repeatability. Measuring approximately 23.5 × 18.5 cm and weighing only 317 g, it’s compact enough for tight spaces yet sturdy enough for permanent outdoor mounting. Operates on 10–30 V DC, draws ≤1.2 W, and outputs a clean 4–20 mA signal with ≤0.5 s reaction time and compatibility with loads up to 600 Ω. Its anti-EMI design, wide temperature tolerance (-20°C to +60°C), and humidity resilience (0–80% RH) make it ideal for continuous deployment in greenhouses, municipal air quality networks, vessel navigation systems, logistics terminals, and livestock production units.
