Polygonal Magnetic Hem Guide With Ripper And Scale

Size: 8.5 cm × 3.2 cm × 1.1 cm; weight: 42 g. Housing: high-density ABS; functional element: stainless steel seam ripper. Mounts exclusively via magnetic attraction to ferromagnetic sewing machine surfaces. Its polygonal geometry allows stable contact along multiple flat edges — enhancing resistance to rotational torque during fabric feeding and enabling angled seam referencing not possible with standard linear guides. The dual-sided scale supports simultaneous reading from either side of the needle column, and the flip-mounted ripper provides immediate correction capability without disrupting hand position or fabric tension. Commonly applied in dressmaking, patchwork piecing, sleeve roll preparation, collar stand setting and student-led textile projects — where geometric precision, tactile responsiveness and contextual adaptability determine both learning outcomes and finished garment quality.
