Precision 14-Bit Magnetic Encoder Module

This 14-bit magnetic rotary encoder provides absolute angular position measurement with ±0.05° system-level accuracy, derived from its 14-bit analog front end (0.0219° raw step size) and enhanced by microcontroller-based linearization and averaging. It runs on 5V DC and communicates via SPI or I²C while also providing a PWM output for analog-style interfacing. The synthetic paperboard enclosure houses a robust sensor IC optimized for non-contact magnetic sensing. Designed for shaft-mounted configurations, it works with a simple two-pole magnet placed above or below the chip. Zero-angle setting is configurable in-system using standard SPI/I²C commands and retained in internal memory. Its design tolerates centering offset, air gap variance, and operates continuously from -40°C to +150°C.
