Precision Aluminum Servo Head Mount Kit

This head mount kit provides a stable, serviceable foundation for robotic vision and sensing systems. Constructed entirely from corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, it comprises a central multi-function bracket, an extended U-shaped support, and a high-precision cup bearing sourced from a certified supplier. Total assembled height (with standard servo) is approx. 55 mm; base footprint is 42 mm × 62 mm. The design supports both static surveillance and dynamic tracking use cases—thanks to low-inertia rotation and minimal backlash. Camera mounting uses M2.5 threads compatible with most CMOS modules; optional IR or ultrasonic sensors attach via M3 threaded inserts located at optimal beam angles relative to the camera’s optical axis. All fasteners are stainless steel grade A2-70, selected for fatigue resistance and UK climate suitability.
