Radial Magnet Compatible Angle Sensor

Designed for use with radial magnets mounted parallel to the sensor surface, this MT6701-based module provides true 0–360° absolute angle measurement through differential Hall effect sensing. Its operating voltage spans 3.3 V to 5.0 V, and it functions reliably from −40°C to +125°C. The module delivers 14-bit digital angle values over I²C or SSI, plus ABZ and UVW incremental outputs with fully programmable resolution and polarity. Absolute angle is also available as 12-bit analog voltage or PWM signal. A dedicated press-detection output responds to changes in axial gap between magnet and sensor — enabling intuitive human-machine interaction. Total angular error remains below ±1.5° across temperature extremes, and system response time is as fast as 5 µs — supporting rotational speeds up to 55,000 rpm. Internal EEPROM allows over 1,000 configuration writes. Supplied with one encoder board, one radial magnet, and one pin header (colour may vary).
