Rectangular Graphite Casting Mold 10x10x2cm

Exact external dimensions: 10.00 × 10.00 × 2.00 cm (3.93 × 3.93 × 0.79 in); cavity depth is 2 cm, full-depth rectangular profile. Constructed from dense, machined graphite — free of binders, fillers or surface treatments. Density and grain structure optimised for thermal mass retention and resistance to spalling under rapid heating/cooling cycles. Typical unit weight: ~180 g. Engineered specifically for non-ferrous metal casting: graphite’s oxidation onset above 450°C in air means it remains stable during typical precious metal pouring (gold: ~1064°C, silver: ~962°C, aluminium: ~660°C). No pre-heating required for most applications, though gradual warming recommended for best longevity. Designed for use by independent jewellers, hobby metallurgists and micro-foundry operators — fits standard crucible pouring angles and supports controlled, drip-free metal transfer into the cavity for minimal dross formation and clean top surfaces.
