Rigid Metal USB Front Panel Kit

This front panel kit replaces vacant 5.25-inch floppy drive bays with four fully functional USB ports: two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0. Overall size is approx. 14.8 × 4.2 × 15.4 cm (5.83 × 1.65 × 6.06 inches); weight approx. 213 g (7.51 oz). The core structure is a 0.8 mm thick iron frame, sandblasted for uniform texture and improved oxidation resistance. All USB connectors feature nickel-plated housings and gold-plated terminals. Includes two 80 cm (31.5 inch) cables: USB 3.0 cables use 24 AWG tin-plated copper with triple-layer shielding; USB 2.0 cables use 28 AWG conductors with built-in filter capacitors. A large 4-pin auxiliary power socket ensures stable supply for high-load devices. Mounting holes match standard chassis patterns. Installation requires identification of the correct mid-chassis floppy bay — not top-mounted optical bays.
