Side Cutter For Overlock Stitching

Constructed from robust metal components and reinforced plastic housing, this side cutter presser foot weighs approx. 65g (2.3oz). It fits standard low-shank domestic sewing machines from Brother, Singer, PFAFF, and JANOME. Contents: 1 presser foot, 1 guide rod, 1 instruction manual. The foot enables accurate, on-the-fly fabric trimming while forming overlock-type stitches — delivering finished seams in a single operation. Its ergonomic profile ensures clear line-of-sight to the needle and stitch formation zone, supporting steady hand-guidance and reduced fatigue during extended use. The resulting over-casting stitch wraps thread firmly around the cut edge, reinforcing it against wear and fraying while preserving natural drape. Recommended for dressmaking, quilting prep, and soft furnishings where clean, functional seam edges contribute to long-term durability and appearance — especially suited to fabrics with high fray potential or minimal seam allowance margins.
