Side Mount Throttle Locking Rod Marine

Engineered as a direct replacement for OE# 881138, this throttle control lever serves side mount outboard and inboard-outboard (I/O) engines. Physical dimensions, pivot axis alignment, and rod length are identical to factory specifications. Built using corrosion-inhibiting alloys suitable for continuous marine use. The locking rod provides mechanical resistance against throttle creep, ensuring the selected RPM remains fixed without manual grip. Supports stable low-speed operation essential for fishing applications like trolling, as well as controlled docking and slow-speed navigation. Compatible with engine models 881170A3, 881170A5, 8881170A7–8881170A20. No drilling, cutting or adaptation required — installs using existing hardware.
