Silicone Sealed Metal Float Valve Kit

Package includes two full float valve units: each consists of a rigid metal valve and a bonded-style silicone gasket cap, both sized to 4 cm (1.57 inches) outer diameter. Gasket thickness is uniform at 3.2 mm ±0.2 mm, optimised for balanced compression and longevity. In normal operation, the valve rises to close the steam vent only when internal pressure reaches design threshold — dependent on precise gasket conformity and valve vertical stability. Worn gaskets allow lateral drift and incomplete closure; hardened silicone loses rebound capacity, leading to slow pressurisation or false low-pressure alarms. Designed for DIY-friendly servicing of electric pressure cookers sold in the UK with mechanical pressure regulation. Does not require model-specific coding or firmware updates — functions identically to original equipment once seated correctly.
