Smart Touchscreen WiFi Heating Controller

Modern programmable thermostat with responsive LCD touch interface, developed for integration with electric underfloor heating systems used widely across UK new builds and retrofits. Unit dimensions: 86 × 86 × 25 mm; weight: 180 g. Input voltage: 230 V AC ±10%, 50 Hz. Max switching capacity: 16 A / 3600 W resistive. Housing uses flame-retardant ABS and chemically strengthened glass for long-term resilience in high-traffic domestic environments. Equipped with persistent memory architecture that safeguards all user inputs — including time-based profiles, temperature overrides, and system modes — across indefinite power loss. Scheduling supports up to 6 configurable periods per day, with repeat options for Monday–Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or fully custom 7-day sequences. Remote access is enabled exclusively via secure 2.4 GHz WiFi connection using standard home broadband infrastructure. Practical deployment spans seasonal use (e.g., boosting bathroom heat only during winter months), occupancy-aligned automation (e.g., lowering temperature during school hours), and multi-generational household needs (e.g., warmer settings for elderly relatives in specific rooms).
