It functions as a dedicated mortising attachment, enabling accurate, repeatable square-hole drilling in solid timber, plywood, and MDF. The fixed-bracket structure ensures minimal lateral movement during feed, supporting clean, square-cornered mortises essential for structural joinery. Installation requires no tools and takes seconds; removal is equally straightforward. While not rust-proof under continuous damp exposure, surface oxidation is superficial and easily managed with routine oil maintenance. Supplied as a single adapter — drill and bits excluded.
