This colour printhead replacement meets OEM dimensional and interface specifications for seamless integration into supported Canon MG-series printers. Built with chemically resistant nozzle plates and gold-plated contact surfaces, it maintains signal integrity over repeated insertions. The protective cover remains in place until final installation, preventing accidental contamination of the 3-colour (CMY) nozzle array. All units are subjected to continuity and resistance checks, followed by controlled test printing to validate uniform ink discharge. Installation requires only opening the printer’s front cover and sliding the old printhead out — no recalibration or alignment steps needed. Confirmed compatibility includes MG6130, MG6180, MG6230, MG6280, MG8180 and MG8280 models.
