This manual chainsaw chain sharpener supports chains used on 12–20 inch bar lengths. Its housing combines lightweight aluminium alloy for portability and stainless steel for critical wear surfaces — delivering strength, corrosion resistance and fatigue tolerance. Operation mimics a pencil sharpener: mount the collet on the chain shank, set the ratchet against the tooth tip, insert the reamer into its guide sleeve, and rotate the crank handle. A two-point mounting system — one fixed, one sliding — accommodates variations in chain hole spacing and link geometry. Every sharpening cycle is completed by pulling the chain forward to expose the next tooth, ensuring systematic, non-repetitive coverage and even wear distribution across the entire chain length.
