Stainless Brass Roller Sharpening Rail

A rigid, lightweight guide rail (120 mm × 25 mm, 180 g) fabricated from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, featuring precision-fitted brass rollers and a fixed-angle stainless steel side clip. Designed for wood chisel sharpening but effective across knife, plane iron, and scissor applications. The brass rollers rotate independently to follow natural hand motion while constraining vertical tilt — guaranteeing consistent bevel geometry. Span adjustment is fully manual: rotating the central nut changes the distance between parallel rails, accommodating blades from 2 mm (fine paring chisels) to 50 mm (large jointer planes). Operation: unscrew the locking knob, slide tool into place, lift or lower to set angle visually or by feel, then retighten. Blade remains flush against stone surface during full-stroke passes — maximising abrasive contact and minimising rounding or wire edge formation.
