STEM V8 Motor Building Kit

A technically accurate V8 small block motor model kit intended for adult learners and engineering-minded hobbyists. Overall dimensions: 22 × 15 × 14 cm; assembled weight: ~1.2 kg. Constructed using impact-resistant ABS plastic for structural elements and corrosion-resistant zinc alloy for rotating and load-bearing components such as the crankshaft, camshaft, and rocker arms. Includes 120+ precisely engineered parts, colour-coded fasteners, and a comprehensive English-language instruction booklet with torque specifications for critical screws. Functional highlights include full 360° crankshaft rotation with harmonic balancer inertia effect, visible valve lift sequence across all eight cylinders, and removable cylinder heads revealing combustion chamber geometry. The model sits on a low-profile transparent acrylic base with anti-slip silicone feet and integrated cable management cutouts for optional LED lighting upgrades. Designed for sustained engagement: ideal for evening build sessions, technical gift giving, apprenticeship support material, or as a conversation-starting centrepiece in offices, workshops, or engineering department common areas.
