STM32L431 DroneCAN Sensor Node

A compact 26x26mm DroneCAN peripheral adapter built around the STM32L431xC microcontroller (256KB Flash), designed for seamless integration of common UAV sensors onto the DroneCAN bus. Features one high-speed CAN interface supporting up to 5 Mbit/s, implemented via two parallel JST-SM04B-TB 4-pin connectors. Includes three UART interfaces (UART1 unused, UART2 configured for MSP and DFU, UART3 assigned to GPS), one I2C bus shared by airspeed and barometer sensors, and one SPI bus dedicated to RM3100 magnetometer. Provides four analog inputs for battery monitoring (BATT_VOLT, BATT_CURR, BATT2_VOLT, BATT2_CURR), five PWM outputs, and one GPIO with TIM16 timer for buzzer control. Debugging is supported via SWCLK/SWDIO pins. Onboard LEDs indicate boot status (blue fast blink), operational state (blue slow blink), and 3.3V rail presence (red). Powered from 4.5–5.5V at the 5V pad, drawing ~40mA. Operates reliably between -20°C and +80°C. Housing made of composite materials. Package contains: 1x CAN-L431 board, 1x 20cm 4-pin JST-to-JST cable, and 1x 20cm 6-pin JST-to-JST cable.
