Dimensions: approx. 18–20 cm tall with a 12 cm diameter circular base; two parallel wooden spindles mounted vertically at optimal spacing for dual-skein control. Crafted from sustainably sourced solid wood, finished with light sanding only — no varnish, lacquer or synthetic coating. Weight approx. 450–550 g, ensuring stability during active use. The holder supports simultaneous feeding of two yarns with zero interference: each spindle rotates independently under gentle pull, maintaining consistent tension and preventing crossover, knotting or over-twisting. Works equally well with hand-wound hanks, commercial centre-pull balls, and irregularly shaped yarn cakes. Designed specifically for UK-based knitters and crocheters — tested with popular UK yarn brands (e.g., Stylecraft Special DK, King Cole Cottonsoft, Drops Safran) and common project types including shawls, jumpers and amigurumi.
