TPMS EL-50448 OEC-T5 for Opel/GM Vehicle Sensors Tire Pressure Monitoring System EL50448 Reset Tool EL 50448 Activation Tool Free Ship Description: For most GM vehicles equipped with a 315 MHz or 433 MHz TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), a relearn procedure must be performed after tire rotations, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Module replacement, or TPMS sensor replacement. This relearn procedure can be completed using the EL-50448 TPMS activation tool. The EL-50448 is compatible with select 2014 GM models. Introduction: 1. TPMS sensors on models from 2012 and later can only be read using specific diagnostic tools. 2. Before the TPMS system operates correctly, the body control module must register the ID information from each sensor at its assigned wheel position. Instructions: Step 1 Enter Learn Mode - Set the gearshift lever to Park (P) - Turn the ignition switch to ON - Access the TPMS display interface through the Driver Information Center (DIC) - DIC displays: "Press Set/Reset to relearn" - Press the Set/Reset button - The turn signals will flash for 3 seconds and the horn will beep twice, indicating entry into learn mode Step 2 Activate and Read TPMS Sensor (Front Left) - Begin with the front-left wheel - Hold the J-46079 or EL-50448 tool antenna near the valve stem, close to the sidewall of the tire - Activate the EL-50448 tool using the start switch - A single horn beep indicates successful reading of the sensor data Step 3 Repeat for Remaining Sensors - Repeat the process for the front-right, rear-right, and rear-left wheels in sequence - Once all four sensors are successfully registered, the turn signals will flash for 3 seconds and the horn will beep twice to confirm completion of the relearn procedure Notes: 1. For certain vehicles equipped with a TPMS, a relearn procedure is required after tire rotation, sensor replacement, or module replacement. The EL-50448 tool enables this programming. 2.
