USB to Quad RS485 Isolator Module

Physical size: 120 mm × 80 mm × 25 mm. Net weight: approximately 150 grams. Housing material: black ABS. Supports four fully isolated RS485 interfaces through a single USB connection, powered entirely from USB host port. Core isolation architecture uses transformer-based DC-DC conversion and optocoupled signal paths to separate USB and RS485 domains — preventing ground potential differences from disrupting communication or damaging upstream PCs. CH344L controller ensures stable baud rates up to 2 Mbps with low CPU overhead. Each RS485 output includes polarity-marked screw terminals, configurable 120Ω termination (via DIP switch), and integrated overvoltage/overcurrent protection. Used in applications requiring concurrent serial monitoring of distributed assets: smart metering clusters, environmental sensor arrays, conveyor line controllers and SCADA edge gateways — especially where existing infrastructure lacks native RS485 support or requires expansion beyond single-port limitations.
