V Hook Rain Chain Adapter For Rectangular Downpipes

One-piece functional kit: includes a rigid ABS V-shaped hook and a matching rectangular downpipe adapter, engineered for seamless integration with standard UK rectangular gutter systems. Adapter outer dimensions: 120 mm × 105 mm × 50 mm; internal aperture: 100 mm × 75 mm. V-hook maximum jaw width: 120 mm; minimum grip depth: 8 mm. Total mass: 180 g. Manufactured via high-tolerance injection moulding — zero dimensional drift, uniform wall thickness, and stress-relieved geometry. Material exhibits confirmed performance in accelerated aging tests: retains shape and grip force after 2000 hours simulated UK weather exposure (including humidity cycling and UV). Installation is fully reversible: V-hook clamps to gutter lip, adapter docks onto downpipe face — no holes, no sealants, no structural compromise. Once positioned, the system guides rainwater vertically into the chain with minimal turbulence, minimising splash radius and acoustic disturbance. Ideal for terraced houses, garden offices, and Grade II listed properties where aesthetics and compliance are paramount. Does not interfere with existing gutter cleaning routines or downpipe maintenance access.
