Displaying the current temperature:
The_x000D_
thermostat will display the current temperature in C by default. When _x000D_
in any other mode making no input for approximately 5 seconds will cause_x000D_
the thermostat to return to this default display.
Setting the trigger temperature:
To_x000D_
set the trigger temperature press the button marked 'SET'. The seven _x000D_
segment display will flash. You can now set a trigger temperature (in _x000D_
C) using the '+' and '-' buttons in 0.1 degree increments. If no _x000D_
buttons are pressed for approximately 2 seconds the trigger temperature _x000D_
will be stored and the display will return back to the current _x000D_
temperature.
Setting the parameters:
To set any parameter long press the 'SET' button for at least 5 seconds. The seven _x000D_
segment display should now display 'P0'. This represents parameter P0. _x000D_
Pressing the '+' or '-' buttons will cycle though the various parameters_x000D_
(P0 to P6). Pressing the 'SET' button whilst any of there parameters _x000D_
are displayed will allow you to change the value for that parameter _x000D_
using the '+' and '-' buttons (see below). When finished setting a _x000D_
parameter press the set button to exit that option. If no buttons are _x000D_
pressed for approximately 5 seconds the thermostat will exit the _x000D_
parameter options and will return back to the default temperature _x000D_
display.
Setting the cooling or heating parameter P0:
The _x000D_
parameter P0 has two settings, C and H. When set to C (default) the _x000D_
relay will energise when the temperature is reached. Use this setting if_x000D_
connecting to an air-conditioning . When set to H the relay will _x000D_
de-energise when the temperature is reached. Use this setting if _x000D_
controlling a heating device.
Setting the hysteresis parameter P1:
This_x000D_
sets how much change in temperature must occur before the relay will _x000D_
change state. For example if set to the default 2C and the the trigger _x000D_
temperature has been set to 25C, it will not deenergise until the _x000D_
temperature falls back below below 23C. Setting this hysteresis helps _x000D_
stop the thermostat from continually triggering when the temperature _x000D_
drifts around the trip temperature.
Setting the upper limit of the thermostat parameter P2:
This_x000D_
parameter limits the maximum trigger temperature that can be set. It _x000D_
can be used as a safety to stop an excessively high trigger temperature _x000D_
from accidentally being set by the user.
Setting the lower limit of the thermostat parameter P3:
This_x000D_
parameter limits the minimum trigger temperature that can be set. It _x000D_
can be used as a safety to stop an excessively low trigger temperature _x000D_
from accidentally being set by the user.
Setting temperature offset correction parameter P4:
Should_x000D_
you find there is a difference between the displayed temperature and _x000D_
the actual temperature (for instance if the temperature probe is on a _x000D_
long run of cable) you can make corrections to the temperature _x000D_
reading with this parameter.
Setting the trigger delay parameter P5:
This_x000D_
parameter allows for delaying switching of the relay when the trigger _x000D_
temperature has be reached. The parameter can be set in minute _x000D_
increments up to a maximum of 10 minutes.
Setting the high _x000D_
temperature alarm parameter P6: Setting a value for this parameter will _x000D_
cause the relay to switch off when the the temperature reaches this _x000D_
setting. The seven segment display will also show '---' to indicate an _x000D_
alarm condition. The relay will not re-energise until the temperature _x000D_
falls below this value. Th
