The BB9-2 black filter is made from high-grade activated carbon rod reduces contaminants such as inorganic minerals, heavy metals, silt, sediment, chlorine, sand, rust, odor and large particles in water from nature.   The PF-2 white Filter is made from Nature Coconut activated carbon and activated alumina granular effectively remove fluoride and arsenic and other residual typical heavy metal ions.   We recommend you replace PF-2 Fluoride Water Filter every 1,000 gallons and 6000 gallons for BB9-2, under normal conditions.
