Waterproof Self-Amalgamating Tape

Three rolls of white PTFE-based self-fusing tape, each measuring 14 metres in length and 18 millimetres in width. Non-adhesive, residue-free, and dimensionally stable. Forms a permanent, airtight, and waterproof seal up to 6 bar pressure when stretched and wrapped tightly. Designed specifically for sealing threaded pipe connections, valves, taps, and shower head fittings in domestic and light commercial plumbing. The tape works by molecular fusion: as it is stretched during application, its surface activates and bonds exclusively to itself — creating a homogenous, flexible layer that moves with thermal expansion and vibration. It does not rely on tackiness or drying time, so performance is immediate and unaffected by ambient humidity or cold conditions. Suitable for both temporary emergency fixes and long-term solutions. Frequently used by UK handymen and property maintenance teams for recurring leak points where access is restricted or replacement is impractical — such as behind tiled walls or under floorboards.
