Weatherproof Infrared Beam Kit

A robust, dual-unit infrared beam sensor system built for automatic chicken coop doors in UK outdoor conditions. Constructed from durable plastic with full sealing against water and dust ingress. Emitter uses 3V (2 x AAA, not included); receiver supports 12–24V DC. Emits a focused 940nm infrared beam with ≤ ±5° angular tolerance and verified detection beyond 12 metres. Designed for fail-safe operation: beam break triggers immediate relay output to stop or reverse door motion. Compatible with all standard NO/NC input-enabled openers — no software configuration or brand lock-in required.
