Once set, the app retrieves the latest local weather forecast and delays watering accordingly. Low Battery Alert: This smart watering system only requires 2 AA batteries (not included) and can last for over 6 months. When the timer's battery level drops below 5%, the app will alert you and automatically shut off the timer to prevent overwatering. Waterproof & Durable: Don't worry about outdoor use; our garden irrigation system is made from anti-UV PC silicone waterproof material (IP55 rating). Compatible with 1/2 and 3/4 inch water tap connections. Applications: This sprinkler system does not generate pressure. The automatic water timer can be used with tap water or pressurized water for irrigating gardens, lawns, flowerbeds, and vertical gardens.
